　　逢年過節(jié)你們會不會跟家人出去參加個婚禮或者家庭聚會什么的？每逢這個時候，遇到滿桌的美食誘惑，難免要胡吃海塞一番。你們的身體處于快速發(fā)育的關(guān)鍵時刻，親人長輩也肯定要勸你多吃點這個，多來點那個……假如你吃不下了，該怎么說呢？


　　I’m full.

　　(1). The steak is so yummy! But I’m full, I can’t finish it.

　　牛排太美味了，但是我已經(jīng)飽了， 吃不完了。

　　(2). — Do you need some more?

　　你要再來點嗎？

　　— No, thanks. I’m full. Just the bill, please.

　　不了，謝謝。我已經(jīng)飽了。買單吧。


　　I’m stuffed.

　　stuff作名詞泛指“東西”；作動詞指“把……塞滿，把……裝進，喂飽”。所以后面加上ed 變成形容詞后就是“塞滿的，吃飽的”的意思。

　　如：(1). — Anything else?

　　還需要別的嗎？

　　— No, thanks. I’ve had enough. I’m stuffed.

　　不了，謝謝。我已經(jīng)飽了。我吃撐了。

　　(2). I have been stuffed. I have no stomach for anything.

　　我已經(jīng)很飽了，什么也吃不下了。


　　I can’t eat another bite.

　　我一口也吃不下了。

　　bite有“咬，咀嚼”的意思，在這里作名詞。

　　(1). — Would you like some more dessert?

　　需要再來點甜點嗎？

　　— No, thank you. I’ve eaten too much. I can’t eat another bite.

　　不了，謝謝。我已經(jīng)吃太多了。一口也吃不下了。

　　(2). Thank you for the tasty dishes. But I’ve had too much. I can’t eat another bite.

　　謝謝你的美味菜肴。但是我已經(jīng)吃得太多了，一口也吃不下了。
